Job Description:
Scope of Services:
- Guide and mentor multiple teams and the organization in Agile/Scrum best practices, methodologies, and values.
- Assess the Scrum maturity of teams and the organization, coaching them to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.
- Facilitate the removal of impediments or guide teams to remove them independently.
- Assist in the completion of work assignments, including assigning or dictating tasks.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, team-building, and conflict resolution.
- Improve transparency and communication within and outside the teams; support product owners and project leadership to maximize ROI and meet organizational objectives.
- Support and educate Product Owners and teams, including grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Engage in agile delivery using the best agile methodology (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Provide servant leadership support to teams, leading by example.
- Facilitate all necessary team meetings according to Scrum ceremonies.
- Participate in design sessions.
- Perform or direct special tasks as assigned.
Mandatory Expertise/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the Scrum Master role.
- Scrum Master certification (must include a copy of the certificate with the resume).
Desirable Expertise/Experience:
- Experience in identifying and building Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance.
- Experience with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in creating and maintaining product timelines, status reports, communication plans, and other product management-related documentation.
