Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join their team as a Supply Chain Manager for Space Airborne Systems in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in supply chain program management within the aerospace and defense sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain program management for Space and Airborne Systems in collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations.
- Ensure alignment with commodity strategies, optimize the supply base, and achieve the lowest total acquisition cost on key programs.
- Manage critical milestones and project requirements, analyzing supplier capacity and capability to ensure material flow and inventory optimization.
- Provide technical support for DFx (design for manufacturability, assembly, and test attributes), including reviewing engineering changes and assessing their impact on materials and the supply chain.
- Engage actively in process improvements to increase efficiency continuously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products.
Preferred Skills:
- Secret clearance preferred, but not required.
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager for subcontracts, managing budgets.
