Description:

The ESS Test Engineer Intern at magniX will support the battery system development testing through involvement in activities such as preparing test documentation, supporting lab design and test preparation, processing data, executing tests at our labs, and preparing test reports. Tests will occur at the UW WCET and the magniX Everett location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support development testing on components (battery cells, etc.) and assemblies
• Support test preparation, including contributing to test plans and procedures, supporting lab and instrumentation design, and preparing units for test
• Prepare materials for and participate in test readiness reviews
• Implement test program and execute tests under supervision of magniX or lab staff
• Extract test and process test data
• Prepare test reports with results and data analysis

• Experience with batteries or testing of systems and components
• Familiarity with a lab environment

Hourly rate: $25-30 an hour depending on experience or years of college completed

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
