The Marketing Co-Op offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the marketing team, contributing to various projects and gaining hands-on experience. This position is designed for a highly motivated and enthusiastic student who is looking to gain practical experience in the field of marketing. They will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to help achieve Cannistraro’s marketing goals and objectives.

In this role you will:

• Assist the Marketing Group with creating and editing content for social media posts, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Assist with designing and executing internal and external marketing communication material (brochures, print, and digital advertisements).
• Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design concepts meet brand standards and business goals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
• Communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely while quickly applying feedback and direction as needed.
• Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

A successful candidate will have: 

• 0-1 Years’ Experience

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Graphic design skills with an understanding of print production techniques and processes.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Demonstrated time management, organizational, and listening skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint
• Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to take design feedback and incorporate it quickly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task across projects.
• Knowledge of photography and proficiency with photo editing are a plus.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
