Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director, Strategic Marketing & Communications, the Brand Marketing Intern will play a role in the launch of our new brand by assisting with marketing campaigns and collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about branding, marketing, and are eager to contribute to the growth of a new and exciting brand.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in telling the story of our organization by creating engaging content for internal and external audiences, including flyers, blog posts, emails, social media posts, videos, and more
- Supporting the creation of email and social media content to support fundraising and organization initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute brand campaigns across various channels
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for brand initiatives
- Generating data-driven insights by tracking and analyzing marketing efforts and researching new ideas and trends
- Assist with project management tasks, including tracking deadlines and deliverables
- Learning and maintaining marketing processes in a growing non-profit organization
- Bringing your ideas and personal touch to Children’s Friend projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles; experience with design software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Must meet all pre-employment checks, criminal and medical clearances, and immunization requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
