Full-Stack Developer

The Full-Stack Developer position at Medido Health is a dynamic role for passionate individuals who excel in both front-end and back-end development. The Job Overview

As a Full-Stack Developer, you'll be instrumental in developing comprehensive solutions that span the entire software development lifecycle. From conceptualizing and designing to implementing and maintaining our web and mobile platforms, your expertise will help drive innovation in healthcare technology. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our applications are responsive, secure, and able to meet the demands of users worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure web and mobile applications.
• Work across the full stack, from UI/UX implementation to server-side development and database management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize application performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose adaptations to enhance our platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to team knowledge and ensuring coding standards.
• Work with stakeholders to understand and implement project requirements effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to healthcare software.
  

Minimum Degree and Years of Experience Required:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field and at least 3 years of proven work experience or equivalent.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
• Strong experience with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Java, JQuery, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with database management and security (SQL, NoSQL).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  
• Backend Servers and Resource Management
• Apache Tomcat and Maven
• JVM and Garbage Collectors
• Understanding of healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with Click-Up or Jira.

Work Location:

This position requires daily attendance at our office. Candidates must be able to commit to working on-site every day at the following location:
