The Cloud Application Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft, Salesforce, and additional SaaS platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of both ecosystems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create and maintain custom applications and solutions on Microsoft and Salesforce platforms, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Integration: Develop and manage integrations between Microsoft applications (such as Dynamics 365, Azure, and Office 365) and Salesforce, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Customization: Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including creating workflows, process builders, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and other engineers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application design, development processes, and integration workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft and Salesforce technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application development and integration with Microsoft and Salesforce platforms.
- Extensive experience with Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Apex, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques.
- Experience with SQL Server and database technology a plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Education, Certification & Licensures:
- BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or Engineering required
- Microsoft and Salesforce certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II) a plus.
Other:
- Ability to work onsite at the Company's Scottsdale, AZ headquarters approximately five (5) days a week
- Ability to use copiers, fax machines, and PDF scanners to keep inventory and ordering records. Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish sufficient detail.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
