Roles & Responsibilities
The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding and coaching the development team in agile practices, removing impediments, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality products in a timely manner. This role is key to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that they are effective and focused.
- Team Coaching: Coach and mentor, the development team on agile principles and practices, helping them to become self-organized and high-performing.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove obstacles that could hinder the team's progress, ensuring that the team can work efficiently.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure that the team's work aligns with the product vision and business goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to reflect on their processes and implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on team performance metrics, using data to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
- Agile Advocacy: Act as an advocate for agile methodologies within the organization, promoting their benefits and best practices.
Mandatory Qualification
(PASS/FAIL)
- Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Specialist
- Five or more years of experience as a Scrum Master and leading agile teams.
Additional Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in agile methodologies preferably Scrum framework.
- Five or more years working experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Five or more years working experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, computer science, engineering or a related field.
