Job Description
The Software Resident Engineer will be involved with the development of Digital Instrument Clusters by acting as the liaison with the customer during the project lifecycle starting with acquisition until series production.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer strong software consultancy of customer engineering to ensure interests are mutually respected.
  • Provide hands-on solutions for arising issues.
  • Aligns with System and Software Technical Program Managers.
  • Aligns with the customer software factory lead.
  • Operate on-site at customer location using provided development tools (for CAN-FD, LIN, LVDS and Ethernet protocols)
  • Be responsible for the deliverables of his role relevant to the assigned Software Component(s)

Qualifications:
  • A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical/Systems Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
  • Experienced in the field of embedded software engineering, ideally in the automotive industry. 2-5 years’ work experience
  • Strong in Software development using Embedded C & C++
  • Good knowledge of industry coding standards (MISRA, Cybersecurity)
  • Good knowledge of writing tests, debugging, knowledge in documentation and test tools.
  • Understand ARM architecture, Image / Signal and graphics processors
