TrueNorth is looking for a Data Developer Intern to work with our Transportation/Risk Solutions Team. The Data Developer Intern will be responsible for Power BI reporting, data analysis, data quality assurance, and much more.

Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May – August 2025. This position will be working out of our Cedar Rapids, IA office.

As a Data Developer Intern, You Will:

• Develop Power BI reports to support data analysis and decision-making.
• Enhance existing Power BI reports to improve functionality and insights.
• Collect, prepare, manipulate, and analyze data files from various sources for reporting purposes.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by performing thorough quality assurance checks.
• Oversee the entire process of data collection, preparation, manipulation, and analysis to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Must be of Junior or Senior status, currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field. 
• Proficient in Power BI or similar reporting platform
• Prior internship or job experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• The ability to work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. 
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry.
