You will join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and technologists driven to removing barriers to data sharing and enabling knowledge discovery through advanced analytics. This is a remote eligible position.

Responsibilities  

• Work closely with software engineers, UX designers, and project managers to implement versatile websites using current front-end technologies and best practices 
• Develop user interfaces for business requirements that are secure, flexible, and scalable 
• Implement changes based on stakeholders' feedback 
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or relevant experience 
• 1-2+ years of experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related front-end technologies in a professional environment 
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and version control systems like Git 
• Experience working with any front-end framework such as React, Vue or Angular 
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Understanding of REST APIs 
• Understanding of responsive design and experience working with component libraries such as Bootstrap, MUI etc. 
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders 

Preferred 

• Understanding of UI design principles 
• Knowledge of core AWS services 
• Understanding of SEO concepts and experience with Google Analytics 
• Experience working in Agile software development environment 
• Familiarity with structured data and headless CMS platforms like Strapi
