Full Stack Developer with Vue.js and Golang

Unison Systems is seeking a forward-thinking, passionate Senior Full Stack Engineer for their client who is in the interpretation/translation service space.The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical capabilities, along with extensive experience in web app development with Vue.js and API service experience using Golang and Postgres. You will be an integral part of the Engineering Team, collaborating across the company to drive impact and growth. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity.

Some of the main initiatives you’ll be part of:

• Playing an active and strategic role in architecting and implementing core product web application feature
• Collaborating with Product Owners and UI Designers to refine User Stories with proper acceptance criteria
• Working on an Agile / Kanban team alongside platform engineers and front-end web engineers
• Implementing front-end and back-end features across the stack
• Implementing best practices around testing and documentation
• Mentoring junior developers

Here’s what we believe our best applicants bring with them into the role:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years software engineering experience required
• 3+ years of experience building web applications with Vue.js, Vuetify and Typescript
• 2+ years of experience building platform API’s with Golang, Postgres
• Good understanding of architectural design principles in web & mobile application development
• Experience integrating web applications with RESTful server APIs which support a variety of frontend clients (web, mobile, etc.)
• Extensive experience with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and good intuitions on which approaches work best in multiple situations
• Experience working with UI/UX Designers

Additional Nice to Have’s

• Experience with mobile tools like React Native on mobile applications
• Experience with caching platforms like Redis
• Front End Test frameworks like Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with analytics platforms and data pipelines like Looker Studio and DBT
• Experience with video platform API's like Zoom, Vonage, etc.
