The Software Development team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain/support the state-of-the-art Corporate Restructuring platform. Qualified candidates must be passionate about software design and writing code, and can perform root cause analysis in supporting escalated production issues.

The candidate must have a proven track record in delivering web applications, and PHP and Java technology products, in small to medium team settings.

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP and enterprise Java applications.
• Ensure performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and remediate defects. Provide ongoing production support.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise web applications in PHP.
• Experience in developing Java applications., preferably using Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Angular is a plus.
• Experience in managing dependencies with Composer.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing, backed with experience (PHPUnit, jUnit).
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Strong understanding of back-end development.
• Experience with MySQL database design and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and Lambda functions.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Kanban).

The annual salary for this role is currently $120,000.00-$150,000.00. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members. The hourly base salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
