Position Summary

We are hiring a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in working with python on Linux and Deep Stream and nVidia hardware to be a part of a development team who are developing and maintaining our Edge computing device.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced team leveraging SCRUM techniques to build products
• Design, code, and test edge computing on Linux
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise mitigation strategies to address them
• Translate requirements and use cases into functional features
• Establish best practices for automated testing frameworks for integration and unit testing
• Profile and measure software quality and performance as we continually improve

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in Python and C/C++
• 2+ years’ experience implementing, optimizing, and benchmarking models using Deep Stream on nVidia hardware (Linux)
• Experience building post processing Deep Stream plugin/plugins
• Proficient in development and debugging tools: gdb, git, gstreamer
• Experience with containers such as Docker
• Experience with AI, ML, Python, Kafka and/or Spark a plus

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• C/C++ Windows development
• CUDA
• Good team-working and communication skills
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM process and techniques.
• Experience with Drone CI or building automation tests
