Summary:
This role involves developing web-based applications and online services for agency components, with responsibilities ranging from site concept and interface design to architecture development. The candidate will work independently on complex web-based systems, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including support for cloud development and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web-based applications, including customer service interfaces.
• Design and implement site concepts, interface designs, and architecture.
• Provide technical support for implementing web-based application interfaces.
• Mentor less experienced personnel and provide training as needed.
• Author or contribute to documentation such as requirements, design documents, and user manuals.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in web-based design and development.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and basic Linux usage.
• Familiarity with Rational Application Developer, WebSphere, SQL Developer/SQL Plus, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Experience with microservices design and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and change/configuration management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to obtain Postal clearance.
