Job Summary: The Product Infrastructure Specialist is focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. Assist in evaluating, reproducing, and investigating software, hardware, reporting, and operating system issues as related to the ScriptPro product line. The role interacts with a variety of personnel ranging from software engineers and testers to senior management and end users. This role participates in project development from initiation through delivery, including site support. Testers are integral to enhancing software design and ensuring stability.

Reporting Relationship: Senior Manager, Product Infrastructure

Job Location: Mission, KS

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. This role is on a hybrid work schedule; mix of remote and in office. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

• Understand complex problems and test case creation in both web and local environments to test the customer user experience
• Test proposed changes to hardware, software, and reporting, that are both in-house and at customer sites
• Interpret symptoms, troubleshoot problems and document possible solutions
• Strong understanding of how the product works and how it is used by our clients
• Diagnose, track and manage the resolution of quality issues through to resolution change requests and build testing for main and beta software builds
• Participate in onsite builds and product support for beta sites
• Document and report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data
• Assist in reproducing, investigating, and debugging software issues in coordination with the team
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of software testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of database basics in Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
• Ability to document testing procedures and guidelines for the team
• Ability to design test plans and evaluate outcomes
• Ability to clearly communicate test results in both written and verbal format
• Small amount of travel may be required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with VMWare, Octopus, and Chef
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience/understanding the role of testing in quality-focused agile development projects

Working Conditions:

This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
