Title: IMS Developer (Camstar / Opcenter)-Remote
Location: 100% Remote. Prefer candidates on the East Coast (EST or CST only).
Duration: 5 months
Description
Standard schedule is expected to be Monday - Friday 8-5. No OT anticipated.
Interview: One Hour, Video Panel Interview
Responsibilities:
Work with an experienced software engineering team to deliver Manufacturing Systems solutions using both custom developed software applications and configured products
Quickly learn new skills and technologies
Work effectively at different levels within project teams
Create and perform unit tests against developed components
Deliver solutions in a timely fashion to meet project milestones
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Requirements:
Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Capable of translating requirements into solutions with minimal supervision
Hands on experience with source code management tools like Git or TFS
Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
Capable of handling multiple problems concurrently, prioritizing appropriately and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
3+ years' .Net development work experience, .Net Core, or C# experience preferred.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Manufacturing Systems (e.g. Siemens Opcenter Ex, Camstar)
Good understanding of Javascript, HTML, CSS, and the Angular framework is a plus
Knowledge of UI design and UX concepts
Understanding of relational databases and SQL query language (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
