NESN is seeking a driven and enthusiastic software development intern to supplement and contribute to our Full-Stack web applications. This is an exciting internship opportunity for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in CS/IT. You will be coding, testing, and debugging software applications under the mentorship of experienced developers and managers. You will be participating in meetings, contributing to the development of features, and may work on side projects to improve existing processes or develop new functionalities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and testing of commercial web applications
• Collaborate with senior developers on various software development projects
• Apply user-centered design principles in software development
• Participate in agile development processes and team meetings
• Contribute to the improvement of existing software and the creation of new features
• Assist in manual testing for various applications, both web, mobile, and OTT/connected TVs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript is required
• Knowledge in React-based frontend application development is required
• Knowledge of Wordpress preferred
• Currently enrolled in a relevant BSc or MSc program
• Interest in media and sports-themed web application development
• Interest in user-centered interaction design
• Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team
• Motivated to learn new technologies and frameworks
