We are seeking a talented Senior React Native Developer to join our team. As a Senior React Native Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using React Native. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements
- Contribute to the architecture and design of our mobile applications
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the codebase
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native community and forum
- Manage full software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and mobile applications
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React Native frameworks
- Hands-on experience in blockchain or web3 applications, familiar with EVM and contract interaction details
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of mobile app design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with automated testing suites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Nice to haves
- 8+ years of full-time engineering experience within a large technology organization or fast growing startup
- Experience with web application development including familiarity with ReactJS Next.js
- Familiarity with native mobile app development (iOS/Android)
