Job Description
A healthcare facility is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to cover weekends ongoing!
Schedule:
- Orientation 10/7, 1018 @ 7am - 10/20 @ 7am, 11/15 @ 7am -11/17 @ 7am, 12/27 @ 7am - 12/29 @ 7am.
- One weekend per month beyond the dates listed
- Weekend call only
- Credentialing timeline is estimated to be about 30 days but applications are prioritized based on start dates
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient work
- Volume: 15-20 patients per shift while rounding
- Support staff: 6 APPS
- Charting: Epic/Dragon
- Bread & butter cases/procedures: Covering Trauma and General Surgery call coverage, and Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service patients. Rounding on all admitted patients for Trauma Services and Acute Care Surgery Services.
Travel and Accommodations:
- Air, Rental, and Lodging coordinated and covered
- International airport 30 minutes from the facility!
