CARESTL HEALTH is a Non for Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving St. Louis communities and school-based operations.

Position Summary:

Care STL Health, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner- FNP to participate in the delivery of healthcare services as an assistant or extender to the primary care physician. The Family Nurse Practitioner will utilize current texts, professional standards, and other resources appropriate for management and treatment to serve as guidelines for care with effective clinical communication skills while working well in a team setting with collaborating physicians.

Essential Functions:

• Review the work records and practices of the health care delivered at least every two weeks with the collaborating physician.
• Delivers health care services and treatments, administers, dispenses, and prescribes drugs as delegated by the physician.
• Participates in the health center's Performance Improvement program.
• Assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan.
• Practices evidence-based medicine.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of APN in the area of Pediatrics, required.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, and Current CPR Certification is required.

• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
