Description of the role:

As a Urology Nurse Practitioner at HR Employer Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality urology care to patients in West Palm Beach, Florida. Working alongside a team of medical professionals, you will contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urologic conditions. This role requires knowledge in urological exams, creation and execution of treatment plans, and collaboration with urologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive urology assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for urological conditions.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on their use and potential side effects.
• Perform urologic procedures, such as catheterization, bladder irrigation, and specimen collection.
• Coordinate with urologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
• Maintain accurate and updated medical records for all patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with current urology guidelines and research.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in urology.
• Prior experience in urology nursing is preferred.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
