Occupational Therapy Job Description
Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant: Your job is to engage with clients and families within the occupational therapy scope of practice, including providing support for daily functional skills, sensory integration, and fine/gross motor planning.
Responsibilities:
Complete initial client evaluation and occupational profile to identify strengths and barriers to participation; write up report and plan of care.
Create treatment goals and update as needed.
Provide weekly, or as needed, sessions for clients; support family as needed.
Collaborate with client to establish client goals and plan of care based on assessment data.
Provide adequate and necessary treatment to reach identified goals.
Monitor and document client progress and reassess as necessary.
Provide education to clients and their families and collaborate with all team members.
Maintain client records and necessary insurance documentation.
Schedule therapy sessions and cancellations.
Self Motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Other essential duties that support the clinic, such as cleaning.
As needed individual and group supervision, as either supervisor or supervisee that meets all WA state
