Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering high-quality therapy services. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients and their families while enjoying the opportunity to connect within the community while servicing the local schools as well.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech and language needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
Provide in-person sessions as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
Provide family-centered therapy services and educate caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
Complete all documentation as outlined by the MS Department of Education
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Mississippi.
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-person therapy sessions.
Current licensure or eligible to receive a MS Department of Education License
