BPN Staffing Solutions is looking for a Nuclear Medical Tech to fulfill a 13-week travel contract in Redding, CA.

Contract Details:

• 13 weeks
• Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• weekly pay and travel stipend

Duties:

• Explain medical procedures to the patient and answer questions
• Follow safety procedures to protect themselves and the patient from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to the patient
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment
• Keep detailed records of procedures
• Follow procedures for radiation disposal

Experience & Certs:

• Current California Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• One year of acute clinical radiology experience
• at least two years as a nuclear medicine technologist
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
• Current BCLS (AHA) required.
• Proficient computer skills.
