The Opportunity

CareFirst is committed to excellence in patient care and customer service. We are currently seeking an X-Ray Tech to join our team in Ocala.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to work in the MRI department learning MRI positioning, MRI coil placement and MRI safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician

Perform X-rays as directed by a clinic provider.

Operate equipment safely

Maintain the safety and integrity of the X-ray suites

Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff

Assist other modalities and front desk as needed

Education and Experience

ARRT RT with current license Required

CPR/BLS

Capable of operating or learning to operate automated systems and other office equipment

Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
