DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL III - Day Services/Vocational

Mozaic is seeking a Direct Support Professional who is responsible for providing oversight and job coaching for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities and provides person directed services while ensuring the health and safety of the individuals served.

Direct Support Professional III Duties:

• Ensures accuracy of Individual Protective Oversight Plan (IPOP) and other current safeguards
• Implements activities as outlined in the SAP/Habilitation Plan and, as applicable, the Life Plan
• Acts as an advocate for individuals
• Provides person directed services, including pre-vocational, employment, community, residential or day habilitative services and assistance in personal skill areas
• Assists and supports individuals with community integration
• Respects the individual's right to privacy and confidentiality by appropriate use of written and verbal communication
• Works collaboratively with others to ensure the individual's health and wellbeing
• Provides medication management according to agency policies and procedures

Direct Support Professional III Qualifications:

To qualify for the position, candidates must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, applicants should have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or hold an associate degree in human services or a related field. A valid driver's license is also required, along with certification in medication administration.

Direct Support Professional III Hours: Monday - Friday, hours will vary due to deadlines

Pay Rate: $17.50-$18.50/hr.+ based on experience!
