Clinician/Therapist Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated substance abuse counselor to help provide direction and support for our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing treatment and recovery plans and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions. To ensure success, substance abuse counselors should be familiar with the latest treatment methods (most importantly, Motivational Interviewing), and collaborate with other mental health care specialists. This individual must be capable of working in a collaborative treatment setting, where consultation with other clinicians, medical professionals, and residential support staff, is essential.
