Summary: Seeking a QC Inspector I with experience in quality inspection or aerospace manufacturing for performing detailed inspections and ensuring compliance with FAA approved procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience

• Formal Inspection Training Program (90 Days)

• Working knowledge of shop mathematics and CATIA or blueprint reading/interpretation

• Competent in the use of basic shop tools and equipment

Preferred Skills:

• 2 years manufacturing or equivalent aerospace experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections using engineering drawings, orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, and QA procedures

• Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems

• Verify functional operation, conduct final inspections, inspect for FOD, and verify paperwork

• Witness, verify, and document specified manufacturing process steps

• Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure FAA compliance

• Participate in safety-related event investigations and report workplace hazards

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
