Summary: Seeking a QC Inspector I with experience in quality inspection or aerospace manufacturing for performing detailed inspections and ensuring compliance with FAA approved procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience
Formal Inspection Training Program (90 Days)
Working knowledge of shop mathematics and CATIA or blueprint reading/interpretation
Competent in the use of basic shop tools and equipment

Responsibilities:
Perform inspections using engineering drawings, orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, and QA procedures
Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems
Verify functional operation, conduct final inspections, inspect for FOD, and verify paperwork
Witness, verify, and document specified manufacturing process steps
Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure FAA compliance
Participate in safety-related event investigations and report workplace hazards
Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
