Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Louisiana (Remote)

Pay: $42/hour
We are looking for a skilled Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students enrolled in schools across Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in children and adolescents. As a Virtual School SLP, you will work remotely to deliver individualized therapy sessions, collaborate with teachers and parents, and contribute to the development of personalized education plans (IEPs) to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities using virtual assessment tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication needs and goals.
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the student's educational team to ensure coordinated support and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant data.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' education plans.
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly as they relate to virtual service delivery.
- Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, preferably in a virtual or telepractice setting.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills with proficiency in virtual assessment tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of special education laws, regulations, and procedures, particularly as they pertain to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and proficiency with virtual communication and telepractice technologies.
