Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with schools in Robbinsdale, MN, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team. Special Education Teachers play a vital role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to a quality education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students of diverse needs and abilities, possess strong instructional skills, and be committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support students' educational goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide professional references.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Dedication to advocating for students with special needs and promoting their success.
