We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Auditor in the Manufacturing industry based in Irving, Texas. The IT Auditor will play a pivotal role in planning and directing audits related to the company's IT policies, systems, and business processes. The role involves working closely with various levels of management, developing audit programs, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with line and executive management based on mutual trust and a focus on common business objectives.
• Plan and execute integrated financial audits, system reviews, and special audit projects in collaboration with financial auditors.
• Develop an effective approach for testing application and general computer controls for annual reviews; conduct testing and document results.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls over information systems, document work performed, and report conclusions and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with other members of the audit team to plan and develop audit programs, risk assessments, and other planning documents.
• Prepare audit reports and present observations and/or recommendations to senior management.
• Identify risks and controls for business processes, technical infrastructure systems, and key IT systems development initiatives.
• Utilize technology to improve the effectiveness of assignments, increase efficiencies, and quickly complete work objectives.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of IT Security, including Windows Active Directory, Linux, SQL Server, and Oracle EBS, and JD Edwards.
• Develop an open and positive relationship with all levels of line and executive management based on mutual trust and respect and a focus on common business objectives.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of Audit Program
• Familiarity with CobiT framework
• Experience with DCAA audits
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions
• Experience in preparing and presenting Audit Findings
• Proven record in Auditing
• Ability to develop and implement Audit Plans
• Experience in preparing and presenting Audit Reports
