We are in search of a Controller to join our team located in West Hollywood, California. The role will involve managing our business's accounting activities, which are currently outsourced to a third-party firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing these accounting functions in-house, working closely with the Owner and Manager in our organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Take responsibility for all billing functions and ensure they are carried out efficiently.
• Utilize Quickbooks Online for all necessary accounting tasks.
• Prepare the company's corporate tax return and ensure timely submission.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Collaborate with the Owner and Manager to set financial goals and budgets.
• Manage and track all company expenses.
• Prepare regular financial reports and statements for internal use.
• Implement systems for managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
