Job title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Long Island, NY
Company Summary: My client is looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer to work alongside their team. The company is a high voltage power solutions manufacturer, working on products in medical devices, semiconductor, scientific analytics and industrial systems spaces. In addition to North America's site, this company is based in Europe and Asia as well operating on a global scale.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer with 3 + years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience with power conversion principles, topologies and devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, transformer design, etc)
- Experience in developing products for regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Understanding of analog and digital electronics used in circuit simulation (LTSpice, Pspice, MATLAB)
- Knowledge of X-Ray tube topology (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Support design/development of high voltage power supplies for X-ray generators
- Conduct modeling / simulation for power convertors and circuit analysis
- Cross-collaborate with offices in Japan and Mexico to ensure optimal production
- Develop new OEM custom HV DC X-Ray tube power sources
- Oversee trainings on the design, testing and troubleshooting the products for new and existing customers
Compensation: $85,000-$120,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.)
