Job Summary
Receive, handle, preserve and store incoming products. Prepare parts and equipment for shipping.
Fully participate in and support the B&P Process Equipment & Systems quality system.
Inspect parts, either new or “experienced”, for defects, such as breakage, excessive wear, or discrepant manufacturing. Verify dimensions of parts, using calipers, micrometers or appropriate measurement devices.
Report any non-conforming parts, consult engineering or manufacturing for disposition and log the material onto the NCMR log.
Release parts into storage and retrieve parts from storage when required.
Participates in the periodic assessment of stored items that is performed as part of internal auditing and inventory management (at a minimum of yearly).
Read and interpret applicable blueprints.
Crate and package all outgoing material.
Handles all hazardous and environmentally unsafe material in accordance with instructions as marked or on MSDS sheets.
Maintains equipment and facilities to keep in professional operating condition.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge equivalent to completion of accredited apprenticeship training or three years of technical training courses beyond high school.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
Good computer skills.
The ability to communicate professionally with other employees and customers.
Working knowledge of weight scales.
FARO (CMM)
G, D & T (Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance measuring)
Hand held measuring Tools.
Must have the proper experience. The pay range is $17-$25 per hour.
