Management Resources is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our client in the manufacturing industry, in Arlington, Texas. As the Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and administering employer compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, spot bonuses, and commissions that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. Designs and communicates pay structures, grades, compensation budgets, and guidelines. Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines. Evaluates jobs and develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture. Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. This position will work closely with the Total Rewards/HRIS Director to ensure all essential duties are accomplished timely, accurately and performed at a high level, to meet the needs of both employees and the company.
This is a 4-month contract position with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities for the Contract Compensation Analyst:
• Conduct in-depth market research to understand competitive compensation practices within the industry.
• Analyze and interpret salary survey data to recommend adjustments to pay structures.
• Develop and refine compensation policies and programs that align with the organization's goals.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to create incentive plans aimed at enhancing performance and engagement.
• Ensure all compensation practices are compliant with legal regulations and maintain internal equity standards.
• Use advanced Excel and HRIS tools to create models and simulations for data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and classifications.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure job descriptions are accurate and aligned with compensation standards.
• Lead compensation-related projects, including annual salary reviews and bonus program evaluations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to compensation and recommend enhancements to compensation processes and systems.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to address compensation-related inquiries and implement tailored solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to managers regarding pay decisions and compensation matters.
• Facilitate training sessions on compensation policies and practices for HR staff and management.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
· Relevant certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is preferred.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Compensation work
· Strong analytical and presentational skills
· Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
· Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Expert user in Excel
· Strong collaborator. Ability to work collectively with Human Resources team
