In this role, you will primarily handle patient registration, insurance verification, and ensure the smooth running of healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
• Register patients accurately and efficiently into the hospital system utilizing their information and details. • Verify patients' insurance or Medi-cal coverage, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date. • Ensure patient's account numbers align with financial codes to avoid any discrepancies. • Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives to gather necessary information, and to explain policies and procedures pertaining to patient registration. • Direct patients to the appropriate office, clinic, or treatment facility center for their respective services. • Maintain a system of clinic appointments, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow. • Actively engage in the resolution of customer inquiries, providing comprehensive and timely responses. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Ensure all records are maintained accurately and are up-to-date. • Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations.
