Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial roofing projects for a major roofing / waterproofing contractor from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the commercial construction industry, strong attention to detail, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

· Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.

· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.

· Conduct regular site inspections and manage project progress to identify and address any issues promptly.

· Negotiate and review contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.

· Manage project budget and track expenses.

· Prepare and present project status reports, including updates on progress, budget, and any potential risks.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

· Utilize math skills to accurately estimate materials and costs.

· Communicate effectively with team members, clients, contractors, and suppliers.

· Implement and manage project changes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues.

· Utilize project management software and Microsoft Office Suite to track progress and create reports.

· Ensure attention to detail and quality control throughout the project.

· Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in roofing technology.

Qualifications

· Minimum 7+ years of experience in Project Management within the commercial roofing industry or general contracting, with a strong emphasis on roofing projects

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

· Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial roofing projects.

· Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and industry standards.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in project management software and tools.

· Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
