**What You'll Do**
As a **Senior Trust Services Specialist** , you'll provide support to Principal Trust Company departments by maintaining accurate records of trust activity with a main focus on account maintenance.
**Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:**
+ Perform routine trust services administrative functions that may include new account set-up, distribution processing and review of customer statements for adherence to regulatory guidelines.
+ Identify problems and develop solutions to issues impacting our Principal customers; escalate issues as appropriate.
+ Support team initiatives through participation in projects, process reviews and/or system enhancements.
+ Timely and accurately complete daily tasks while balancing a variety of other tasks.
+ Work closely with our administrative partners on day to day work.
+ Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

**Who You Are**
+ High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience required
+ Two years experience in bookkeeping, trust accounting administration, or experience with qualified and nonqualified benefit plans preferred
+ Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem solving, prioritization, mathematical, interpersonal and time management skills
+ Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, team environment
+ Flexible work schedule is required with overtime, as needed
+ Requires basic computer skills and the ability to obtain the knowledge of business unit software
+ Must have basic to mid-level knowledge of Excel
+ Excellent customer skills required
**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**
$19.47 - $35.19 / hour
**Time Off Program**
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

**Work Environments**
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
