We are seeking Assembly Technicians who have experience with Cable and Wire Harness Assembly for a manufacturer in Hudson, New Hampshire.

Pay starts at $22.00 per hour, operating on 1st shift Monday-Friday. Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
• Advanced training in J-STD-001/IPC-620 Standards
• Prior cable assembly experience required
• Solid Mechanical and Math aptitude
• Uses fingers and hands to manipulate small items
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

As a Cable Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling assigned wire and cable harnesses and product parts on an assembly line in accordance with production guidelines. The Assembly Technician reads and interprets drawings, travelers, and bills of material, then uses measuring tools, crimp tools, wire cutting equipment, and stripping machines to assemble products. The Assembly Technician also performs spot tie and continuous lacing, heat shrinks sleeving and boots, splices bus wire, and solders pins, contacts, solder cups, sleeves. In addition Cable Assembly Technicians clean molds, perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards, and notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
