We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Admin (Linux Clustering) in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role requires a person who is proficient in Linux clustering, with the ability to manage and configure SLURM. The ability to automate scripting in Python/Bash/Shell is also a key part of this role.

Responsibilities:
• Administer Linux cluster systems in a healthcare environment.
• Configure and manage SLURM for optimal system performance.
• Use Python, Bash, and Shell scripting languages for automation tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux clustering and SLURM.
• Monitor system performance and implement adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the system, adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with IT team to optimize system performance.
• Document all processes and actions taken.
• Provide technical assistance and support as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Linux clustering.• Proven experience in Linux system administration
• Prior experience with Linux Clustering
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting
• Familiarity with Slurm workload manager
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of industry best practices in system administration and security
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to provide after-hours support as needed
• Relevant certifications in Linux system administration would be advantageous.
