Position: Social Worker

As our dedicated Social Worker, you will take charge of overseeing cases and forming partnerships with parents, educators, and administrators. Your primary focus will be on providing impactful interventions, support, and counseling to students navigating truancy hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer crucial support to students and their families as they address truancy-related concerns. This enpasses implementing behavioral interventions and conducting home visits to foster engagement and gain insight into each student's individual circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to proactively identify students at risk of truancy and establish preventative measures to ensure ongoing academic success.
• Develop and execute behavior modification plans for students with challenging behaviors. In addition, extend supportive strategies to families during times of crisis or transition.
• Cultivate a spirit of collaboration among families, students, and school staff to deliver prehensive support, targeted interventions, and counseling. Your efforts will contribute to helping students unlock their full potential.

Requirements:

• Possession of Social Worker registration in the state of Michigan
• A natural ability to work harmoniously with students, families, and school staff
• Exceptional interpersonal, munication, and organizational skills
