Position: Early Head Start Teacher (infant to 3 years old)
Job Description:
- Foster children’s social and emotional development by providing warmth, sensitivity, nurturance, acceptance, and safety.
- Create a safe environment for play and help children understand their feelings and emotions.
- Complete daily assessments and document child’s day through the Teacher Strategy Go application.
- Facilitate feeding that is appropriate to child’s age.
- Develop social and emotional language through play.
- Plan and execute monthly lesson plans supported by Head Start curriculum.
- 1-4 ratio - 2 teachers per classroom with a max capacity of 8 children.
