Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement effective interventions and support strategies.
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral concerns.
- Participate in virtual Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to help tailor education plans to meet students' needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and interactions with students and their families.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Georgia School Psychologist certification.
- Previous experience in school psychology is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Technologically proficient and comfortable using virtual assessment platforms and communication tools.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
