Robert Half has an opening for an experienced, driven Senior Accountant to provide leadership and know-how to a growing team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. We are seeking an individual for this role who is able to motivate others by maintaining a positive professional attitude; exhibit integrity, reliability and leadership; and is capable of providing exceptional client services by managing self and others by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality and accountability. This permanent position is for a Senior Accountant who will work in the South Jersey Area.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the processes of accounts payable and receivable, including the processing of invoices, approval of payments, and management of collections.
• Support the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes, including the creation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and offer insights for action.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, and accounting policies and procedures.

The ideal Senior Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Senior Accountant position include and are not limited to:

• 5+ years relevant work experience in accounting or financial field
• Quickbooks and MS Dynamics experience preferred
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity
• High attention to detail; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
