Virtual School Psychologist
Location: Kansas (Remote)

Pay: $48/Hour
As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of students enrolled in our virtual education programs across Kansas. You will work remotely, providing assessments, interventions, and consultations to students, families, and educators. Your expertise will help identify and address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive in their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide virtual counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students in managing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns.
- Offer guidance and support to educators on implementing evidence-based strategies for classroom management, positive behavior support, and inclusive practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, concerns, and recommendations for interventions.
- Assist in crisis intervention and response, including providing support to students and families during times of acute distress or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and consultations in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in school psychology and virtual education to continuously improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Kansas.
- Experience working as a school psychologist in a K-12 educational setting, preferably in a virtual or remote environment.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, techniques, and diagnostic criteria.
- Proficiency in utilizing virtual platforms and teletherapy software for remote service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, families, educators, and administrators.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, equity, and inclusion in supporting the needs of diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
