Sparks Group in collaboration with its client, a nationally recognized non-profit is searching for a skilled Grants and Accounting Manager. The Grants and Accounting Manager reports to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing accounting duties, preparing financial reports, and managing various federal and non-federal grants. The ideal candidate will ensure that programs adhere to grant terms, approved budgets, and OMB procurement guidelines. Responsibilities:

• Ideal candidates will have experience working at a small-to-midsize nonprofit and exposure to some form or contribution to grant or budget writing.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and enter payroll journal entries in accounting system
• Prepare monthly financial reports, assist CFO with preparing annual budget and maintain records for reporting and annual audit
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements, grant financial reports and approved program budgets

Required Skills:

• Minimum of five years of professional experience with a track record of increasing job responsibilities
• Proficiency in adapting to and utilizing new technology for grant and operational management, including accounting software and project management tools
• Demonstrated experience in grant proposal development and reporting
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Excel, and ADP WorkforceNow is desirable

Pay Range: Salary $90,000.00 to $100,000.00
