Engineering and manufacturing company in the Alvin, TX area is currently hiring an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join their team!  In this role, the CNC Machinist / Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up and running CNC machines on a daily basis; providing accurate estimates for material usage, tooling and fixture requirements, and cycle times to support bids / estimates for sales requests. Machinists are expected to independently produce finished products using a print and stock material.

Salary: $83,200 - $89,440 /yr.

The perfect CNC Machinist / Programmer for our client will have:

·         Have proficiency with CAD / CAM programming based primarily on PDF drawings

·         Strong knowledge of feed rates for various types of metals

·         Understand fixturing, order of operations, and inspection methods and equipment

·         Must be able to perform Metric to Standard conversions

·         Must have clear and effective communication skills
