**Job Title: Physical Therapist**

**What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities:**

As a dedicated Physical Therapist, you will be pivotal in transforming patients' lives through personalized care. Your essential responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

- **Comprehensive Patient Assessments**: Perform thorough evaluations through clinical observations and standardized assessments to accurately identify patients' physical therapy needs.
- **Personalized Care Plans**: Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans tailored to enhance patients’ overall functionality and engagement in daily activities.
- **Patient Education**: Deliver patient-centered education designed to promote optimal movement, physical activity, and preventative measures to support recovery and enhance quality of life.
- **Technology Integration**: Leverage technology to provide additional resources and support to both patients and their caregivers, improving accessibility and engagement.
- **Virtual and At-Home Care**: Offer virtual physical therapy sessions and conduct house calls for high-risk patients, ensuring safety and comfort in treatment delivery.
- **Equipment Instruction**: Guide patients and caregivers in the correct use and handling of rehabilitation equipment to ensure safe and effective recovery processes.
- **Leadership and Mentorship**: Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and interns, providing direction and fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- **Collaborative Care**: Work seamlessly with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and caregivers to define and pursue patient-specific therapy goals.
- **Exceptional Patient Experience**: Ensure a positive patient experience by delivering service that is prompt, professional, and empathetic, fostering trust and rapport.
- **Educational Development**: Contribute to the creation and dissemination of educational materials for both patients and healthcare providers to enhance understanding and awareness of therapy practices.
- **Quality Improvement Initiatives**: Participate in quality improvement programs tailored to clinical needs, integrating evidence-based practices into workflows to elevate patient care quality and resource utilization.
- **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of our practice and patient community.

**What You’ll Bring - Education Requirements:**

- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or its equivalent from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Active licensure with the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

**What You’ll Bring - Experience Requirements:**

- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating clinical competence and compassion.
- Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to facilitate documentation and presentations.
