We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the technology industry. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. You will also be tasked with developing, managing, and testing database and information systems backup and recovery plans.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the performance, integrity and security of the database.
• Implement database designs, data models, and database access.
• Develop and manage database backup, recovery, and migration systems.
• Operate and leverage EO/IR systems.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL in managing and administering databases.
• Implement backup technologies to ensure the safety and integrity of data.
• Conduct cluster analysis to understand the structure of the database.
• Perform configuration management to control and document changes in the database.
• Execute database administration tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Adhere to design controls and standards.• Proficiency in Database tools and technologies is required.
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is essential.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is required.
• Experience in MySQL is needed.
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is essential.
• Proficiency in Cluster Analysis is a plus.
• Experience in Configuration Management is required.
• Prior experience in Database Administration is necessary.
• Familiarity with Design controls is a plus.
